Recent Artwork

Here is some of the boys' recent artwork.  They are really into writing notes for others (teachers, us, etc) right now.
Aaron is doing so well writing his name!
Connor's go-kart track.
Connor's science picture.
Aaron's work from school.
Love notes from Aaron...he spelled everything on these by himself!

February Randoms

Here are some random photos from the end of this month...
Our last visit to Dr. Highland's office.  We will miss her and her staff - they were wonderful to our boys!  Mrs. Terry let the boys help her - Connor took Aaron's x-rays, and both of them operated the suction and water sprayers for each other.
Daddy's wingman.
A beautiful evening and sunset at Shelby Farms.
Dogpile!
Rock Band with the Ayottes!
Lego shopping at Toys R Us.
The boys formed a band and this is how they dressed :)

Downtown Memphis Day: Go Grizzlies!

We continued our day of downtown Memphis fun at the FedEx Forum to watch the Grizzlies take on the Sacramento Kings!  It was our first Grizzlies game and first time in the Forum!  It was a great atmosphere, complete with fireworks, great music, the DES chorus singing the National Anthem, and really neat acts during halftime and timeouts.  We had a great time watching the Grizzlies victory!

We weren't expecting all of the fireworks!
Aaron is a scary Grizzly!

Blue and Gold Dinner

Tonight was Connor's Cub Scout Blue and Gold Dinner, an annual event where the boys are promoted to the next level in scouting, leaders are recognized, and awards are distributed.  Connor and his friends satisfied the requirements to become Tiger Cubs, and they can sew their Tiger badges next to their Bobcat badges on their uniforms!  The evening had a Star Wars theme, and Connor's den made a really funny video skit that everyone enjoyed watching!  We are proud of how hard Connor has worked in Scouts this year, and we are grateful for Mr. Seth, Mr. Craig, and Chris's leadership!
This is the best group photo we could get!
