Happy Halloween!

The boys and I enjoyed a fun Halloween evening!  Prior to Halloween night, we went to the pumpkin patch twice and the family celebration at the Y, where Connor had s'mores for the first time!  On Halloween evening, we ate pumpkin pancakes for dinner then Caryn and Alyssa came over to trick or treat with us.  We played in the driveway for a while before loading up in the wagon.  Connor got the hang of it very quickly, and Aaron was content looking for dogs and petting the friendly ones.  Connor quickly learned that he could get more candy if he told people that he "needed one for his brother."  So many people were outside so it was fun to be in our neighborhood for the evening!  Our little dinosaur and racecar driver had a great evening!

Fruit Cove Pumpkin Patch

Friday was pumpkin patch day at Connor's school!  We got to ride in Mrs. Donna's hayride out to the field, where everyone got to have a snack, pick out a pumpkin, and pet some farm animals.  It was a really fun morning, and I am so blessed to be able to share these experiences with Connor.

A Busy Friday

On Friday, Connor and I had a very busy day!  Aaron spent the day at MyGym and at home with Meemaw and Papa, so Connor and I enjoyed some special time together.  We began the day at his school's pumpkin patch day.  Then, we went home after school and took a quick nap before heading to two birthday parties.  First, we went to Thatcher's costume party.  Then we went to Bennett's fishing party.  Connor had an awesome time - he learned all about how to watch for the bobber to move up and down and then to reel in the line.  He even caught two fish and he got to take his fishing pole home!  He kept talking about wanting to go fishing with Daddy when he comes home.  I had such a fun day with my favorite 3-year-old!
